I often find myself having to retype a search result when the link I clicked on wasn't exactly what I needed. Would it be possible to have Tell Me/Search open on the side like how "Help" does and to keep it open until a user closes it?

This is a great idea, but also relates to this idea which would have a similar result - I've voted for both because I find repetitive searching very frustrating.
