The Date virtual table defines the Period Start and Period End for each week, which is used throughout the system for statistics/analytics pages and calendars.
It is standard in North America and a few other countries that weeks start on Sunday rather than Monday (contrary to ISO 8601). Although the calendar dropdowns now behave according to the user's regional settings, the Date table is still using Monday-Sunday weeks (ISO8601). This inconsistency in views causes confusion from users and is contrary to local expectations in US/Canada.
Can we have a service tier or tenant level setting to change the first day of the week? This is available in other D365 family products but is missing in Business Central. This has been a longstanding ask back to Dynamics NAV.
