At IBX we use Dynamics 365 for tracking and managing Investment opportunities. In the investment sector decimal places is key to projecting and reporting accurate financial gains/losses.

With that said we have a requirement for calculating the percentage of two currency fields. The calculated field data type is (Decimal) with 10 decimal place values.

The formula is as follows:
IHG committed (Currency 2 decimal places) divided by Fund Committed (Currency 2 decimal places) times(*) 100 i.e 20,000,000 / 270,000,000 * 100 =7.4074000000.

If this calculations is done outside of Dynamics the results is 7.407407407407407.

As mentioned above decimal values play a major role in the investment world. It would be great if Dynamics 365 would allow for calculations on currency fields beyond the current 4 digits limitation.

Also a percentage field data type would also be an awesome addition to Dynamics 365 platform.
