The default filter for the view "open activities" in the account and contact forms is set to "next 30 days", which is very confusing for our users. I am not able to change the default filter criteria to "All".

It would be very good if the filter for the "open activities" view in the account and contact forms would be set to "All".

This has been implemented. It is set to all by default and the user has options to change to other values if needed. Hence closing the idea.

O

Thanks for posting this. Or at least allow the system administrators to customize the Filter On: dropdown menu default to be "All" or whatever we want it to be. We've had at least five companies request this change. We should also be able to customize the Include: drop-down if needed. Our advanced find is generally good enough to restrict what we see in this view anyway, even when this is set to All. Just give more customization rights in this area overall.

Fully agree with the above, either change the default view or let us customize the default.

According my observations it was not done in version CRM 2013. When do you plan to release this functionality? Pavel

Please.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are considering this functionality for a future release of CRM. Steve This posting is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

Having a 360° Degree oversight per Account is a main reason why people want a CRM System. However, Dynamics CRM is a CRM that does not have a correct 360° View, really.   I have to tell the users they would have to klick each time on the grid, deselect the 30 days ... which is very time consumig if you would like to have just a glimpse on the "360° Degree view". I have seen other CRM Systems (even 10 year old solutions) which did provide a full 360° view on all activities on the account level which sums up what happens when with whom (bringing up User AND Contact related to the account). Still as of today, MS Dynamics CRM does not have it. I think we would have here a major rework even with this odd Activity Pointer which does not allow to bring up custom fields you have created on every (!) activity already (Tasks, Email, etc).

Hope it will be posibble in the next version, customization options for the system administrator would be very nice!

This is much needed within our organization - our uses use quite a bit extra clicks every single day to change the activity feed to All.
