Repro steps:


Sales and marketing > setup >distribution > modes of delivery

  1. In the modes of delivery screen, have two modes set up using the same ‘expedite’ codes (ex: UPS-GRND and UPS-2DAY both have 'Expedite' = 'Priority25' code)


Sales and marketing > sales orders > all sales orders

  1. Create a sales using a customer with UPS-GRND default mode of delivery
  2. After the sales order is created, change the mode of delivery to UPS-2DAY
  3. Save/refresh -> Error message appears:
  4. "Cannot create a record in Call center sales orders shipping (MCRSalesTableShipping). Expedite: Priority25, No. The record already exists."


The error message appears when changing from one mode of delivery to another that has the same 'expedite' value.


This error message requires a browser refresh to continue working on the sales order which can be time-consuming and impactful on customer service.
