In 2022 Microsoft released the ability to enter item tracking details directly into the Item Journal Lines when the "Item Tracking on Lines" feature is turned on for an Item Journal Batch. This gives users the ability to enter Lot and Serial numbers directly onto the item journal line, but does not include this same ability for the "Package No." that is a part of item tracking in Business Central. Recommend allowing package numbers to entered directly onto item journal lines the same way that it is available for Lot and Serial numbers.
